McGill iGEM is an undergraduate research group operating at McGill University focusing on Synthetic Biology. Comprised of students from all faculties, we advocate for interdisciplinary research and accessible scientific communication to the Greater Montreal community.
In Vitro 2022 was a 2-day hybrid conference we organized in August. iGEM teams across the world had the opportunity to tune in to talks by synthetic biology industry leaders and practice their project pitches in front of professors and iGEM alumni. In partnership with District 3 Innovation Hub, iGEM teams received entrepreneurial insight into the biotech start-up environment in Montreal.
